| 6th Taiwan Perovskite Technology and Applications Forum

With the rapid growth in global energy transition and demand for efficient computing, next-generation energy materials are increasingly being utilized in a variety of applications with high added value. Among these, perovskite materials are becoming a crucial link between energy technology and advanced manufacturing, thanks to their high efficiency, low processing temperatures, and wide range of applications.

This forum will focus on the latest developments of perovskite in various emerging application areas, including:


🏢 Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV): Transforming buildings from energy consumers to nodes for power generation and energy management


🔬 X-ray sensing and imaging applications open up new possibilities for highly sensitive, low-dose sensing


🚀 Energy innovation applications driven by AI and space computing centers: High-density computing and energy requirements in extreme environments

 

🌐 Self-powered IoT systems utilize high-efficiency perovskite materials to generate electricity stably in low-light indoor conditions, enabling devices to operate on their own power.

The forum will go beyond mere technical demonstrations to delve deeper into key industrial topics such as material design, key equipment, process scaling, reliability testing, and module and system integration. It will also analyze the critical pathways for transitioning from the laboratory to mass production, and from technical feasibility to commercial implementation.

Through cross-industry and cross-disciplinary exchanges, this event aims to connect energy materials, advanced manufacturing, system applications, and supply chain partners. It seeks to facilitate effective dialogue among technologies, manufacturing processes, and markets. Ultimately, it aims to enhance Taiwan’s overall competitiveness and international profile in the field of next-generation energy materials and advanced manufacturing.

論壇說明

  • This event is divided into an morning session and an afternoon session. The afternoon session features two main forums.

  • Lecture materials are not available for download during this event. Materials can only be viewed online on the day of the event.

  • This event requires a ticket with a QR code to enter. Seats are limited, so please register promptly.

  • This event provides lunch boxes and tea.

  • Eating and drinking are completely prohibited in the venue, with the exception of bottled water.

  • This event complies with central government’s epidemic prevention guidelines. Those who have symptoms such as fever or sore throat, or who feel unwell, are advised to wear masks throughout the event.

  • The organizer reserves the right to make final modifications, changes, provide explanations regarding the event, and cancel it at any time.

| Modes of Transportation

  • High-speed rail:
    Take the high-speed train to Tainan High-Speed Rail Station. Exit from Exit No. 1 of the station. It takes about 8–10 minutes to walk to the Southern Campus of the Academia Sinica.

     

  • Train
    Take the Western Main Line to Tainan Station or Zhongzhou Station. From there, transfer to the Shalun Line for your destination. The final stop is Shalun Station. It’s about an 8–10 minute walk from the station to the destination.

     

  • Drive by myself

  • Traveling along National Highway 1:
    Take Route 86 at the Yu-Ende Interchange (heading towards Keelung/Skytrain). Exit at the Shanglun Interchange. Then, follow the connection road at the Datan Interchange to reach the road under the Skytrain bridge (Route 39).

  • Traveling along National Highway 3:
    At the Guanmiao Interchange, take Route 86 (towards Keelung/MRT). Get off at the Datan Interchange, then continue in the direction of the MRT station to arrive at your destination.
